R3 Resourcing is working together with one of the UK's most successful fashion and homeware retailers for the recruitment of a new Assistant Store Manager. Our client is experiencing phenomenal growth expanding their product ranges as well as operating a successful online business. An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a talented Assistant Store Manager to join the business at their large successful store in Peterborough.

As an Assistant Store Manager for the business, no two days will be the same, you will effectively support the Store Manager in order to maximise sales and profit, whilst minimising costs within pre-set targets.
To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate a successful retail management career at in a management capacity, we would encourage applications from Store Manager or Deputy Manager or Assistant Manager or Commercial Manager candidates. Leading large teams of 20 staff will be second nature, as will the ability to manage controllable costs including stock loss, wage cost control, and store expenses.

As the Assistant Store Manager you will manage an existing retail management team and you will be able to lead, inspire and motivate them to greater success. Operationally you will be strong as well as demonstrating a flair for sales, service and VM. A passion for customer service is essential; you will achieve the expected standards daily, but work hard to inspire them to exceed expectations. As an Assistant Store Manager you will support your area manager in a variety of projects and be able to represent yourself and the store at all times with professionalism and passion.

In return for this, the successful Assistant Store Manager will be rewarded with a starting basic salary up to £18,500, you will have the chance to increase your basic salary to the top of the banding which is £23,5000. In addition, you can earn bonuses up to 30% of your annual salary, you can then earn over £5000 a year which is payable monthly and quarterly. The total package for this role will eventually be over £28,000, as well as this you will have the opportunity to continue your career development in a fast paced and challenging environment.Although the salary banding to start is at entry level, you will be joining one of the most successful retailers in the UK- long term development and opportunity is within your grasp!
