Assistant Manager / Assistant Store Manager
The Company:
Our client is one of the largest footwear and fashion retailers in the UK. Providing a choice for all the family, all branches stock low-priced brand-name shoes for a wide range of people with product lines always on top of current fashion trends. They are experiencing considerable growth and as a result of a rapid store expansion plan they are now looking for an Assistant Manager / Assistant Store Manager.
Job Role - Assistant Manager / Assistant Store Manager:
As the Assistant Manager, your role will consist of assisting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operation of your store. Your key responsibilities will consist of:
- Deputising for the Store Manager
- Training and development of the team
- Driving store performance through customer service and a well maintained store
- Administration
As an Assistant Manager, there is the also the opportunity to progress into a Store Management role, depending on the individual, within a short time scale.
Key Attributes - Assistant Manager / Assistant Store Manager:
We are looking for candidates who have management experience within a volume-orientated retail background. You must be:
- A flexible person with a very 'hands on' approach to management
- Very customer service orientated
- A 'people person' with strong training and development skills
