Department Manager - Leading Food Retailer

Job Role - Department Manager:
Responsible for running a team, you will be ensuring that store standards are maintained and you will be involved in the recruitment, training and development of personnel. You will be responsible for:
- Maximising departmental sales.
- Adhering to departmental budgets and meeting profit targets.
- Controlling and maintaining company and departmental standards and procedures.
- Managing, motivating and developing the team.
- Delivering excellent customer service.
You will act as a keyholder for the site and have full line management responsibilities.
Key Attributes - Department Manager:
Applicants must have a retail background and have previous supervisory or managerial experience within retail, either as a Department Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor. Strong people skills are also required.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITHIN FOOD OR BLUE-CHIP RETAIL.
