Key Purpose of Role

To organise and deliver an efficient and effective store operation which exhibits professionalism with a commitment to ‘Exceptional Customer Service’.

Ensure an industrious and rewarding environment in store through the development and effective management of all store staff.

Key Accountabilities

• Organise effectively the smooth and efficient running of the store operation.

• Maintain highest possible standards of customer service.

• Motivate train and encourage all staff members..

• Maintain high levels of presentation within the store according to company procedures.

• Communicate with Senior Management.

• Administer and complete payroll records for all staff.

• Be aware of health and safety issues and to instruct staff members accordingly.

• Ensure that all relevant legislation is adhered to at all times e.g. VSC.

• Always ensure KPI’s are maximised to their full potential and that costs are kept within budgets.

• Maintain strict security control at all times and to ensure that company policies with regard to bag checks etc. are enforced.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Work Experience

·Retail management experience

·A proven track record of management/supervisory experience including budgetary control, recruitment, staff development and Health and Safety within a retail or similar environment.

·Very strong organisational skills. Good inter-personal and communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to manage your own time to meet deadlines.

·Excellent customer service with the determination to inspire success within your team.
