Junior Garment Tech

JOB PURPOSE: To provide technical support to the product development team

KEY DUTIES Working with technology team to produce
AND any sample details to be taken on trips
TRIPS: Advising factories of any amendments and logging all communications with factories
Regular updating of critical path by style
Approval work on samples, ensuring correct fit is achieved via fitting sessions and creating approval comments reports
Liaising with designers regarding amendments/updates to design specifications and keeping all specifications up to date
Checking measurements on design and final production specifications
Checking grade rules on salesman samples and production specifications
Working with QC team to ensure all style grade rules are correct to the desired design of the garment
Working with bought samples to produce comparison charts – log all information on blocks
Setting up any new block measurements and liaising with buying team to ensure consistency
Working with factories, designers and buying teams to ensure the best possible fit of salesman and production samples
Liaising with factories on production problems
Updating design specifications for salesman samples orders
Updating salesman sample specifications for production orders

To undertake such tasks and duties as may be reasonably requested by your Manager or other members of the Management Team.
