Mad about Toys! My client is the market leader within its field and prides itself in offering its customers a service that is second to none. They are the UK’s largest independent toy retailer and due to their continued success and growth now have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join the team at their Harlow store.
You will currently be an experienced Assistant or Deputy Manager and will preferably come from a toy, entertainment or gadget background. If you can confidently manage a high turnover store and are an astute, commercial, sales focused Assistant Manager, then this is the role for you!
You will be responsible for assisting the Manager in the effective running of the store and you will be a key member of the management team. Driving the stores success, you will be an inspirational leader and an expert motivator!
Your key objectives will be to effectively communicate with both your fellow colleagues and customers to create an exciting and interactive shopping environment. You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to up sell and cross sell on products, be willing to go that extra mile and also coach and develop your junior colleagues.
Commercially aware, you will be confident in managing budgets within the store and will be happy working in a team focused, target driven environment!
