This leading
household name retailer is currently looking for an experienced Buyer within
their Consumer Electronics team. They have grown quickly over recent years and have
an impressive track record of increasing market share in a competitive market.
It is essential
you are a strong negotiator and have extensive category buying experience with
a multi-site retailer. Candidates will ideally have experience within Consumer
Electronics however consideration will be given to applicants who have relevant
buying experience within a fast paced multi-site retail environment in other
product areas. E.g. Food, DIY, Homewares, Household, Health and Beauty.
It is essential
you have gained your experience working for a top 20 retailer and have had
exposure to dealing with blue-chip multinational branded suppliers. You will be
adept at securing favourable trading terms from suppliers and building market
leading product ranges. It is likely you will be currently buying a high
profile category area within your business and will be comfortable working in a
fast paced head office environment.
