A superb opportunity has arisen for a Customer Marketing Manager to join BerryWorld - an expanding FMCG business based in Broxbourne - Nr London.
As part of their continued expansion BerryWorld are now seeking an exceptional individual to build a Customer Marketing function to help drive the business forward. You will also have the following responsibilities:
- Establish a customer marketing and market insight function.
- Develop an understanding of customer's marketing strategies and organisations.
- Build and develop key relationships within retailers & independents at all levels.
- Develop category proposals, identifying sales, growth, market share, key drivers, segmentation, consumption, usage and shopper insights.
- Provide ad-hoc market requests, including analysis for internal & external business needs in the category, insight and marketing forum.
- Support New Product Development.
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in Category, Trade, Customer Marketing & Market Insights gained within a retailer or FMCG business.
- Commercial awareness - P&L driven.
- Technical skills in data manipulation (TNS, IRI, Dunnhumby, EPOS, AC Nielsen etc)
- Evidence of capability to use data to create relevant insights and convert these into commercial reality.
- Knowledge of CRM and Category management tools.
- Ability to present, influence and persuade internal & external audiences.
- A self starter with experience in function / team development
- Strong academic background
BerryWorld is one of the UK's foremost soft fruit marketing companies, supplying berry fruits to the leading UK multiple retailers. Formed in 1994, they are owned by leading distributors Poupart Ltd with BerryWorld's products accounting for approximately 30% of the soft fruit provided to UK multiple retailers. The business represents growers covering more than 2500 acres of soft fruit production around the world.
