Position: Lead Sales and Service Manager / Line Service & Sales Manager
Location: Positions available in Oldham, Northampton, Bedford, Coventry & Blackpool
ROLE:
Reporting to the Store Manager you will lead your team to deliver world class service and expert sales advice for customers to earn their lifetime loyalty. With your expertise and drive you will market their services to achieve maximum sales and impact. You will drive sales within Retailing Services and be accountable for achieving and exceeding targets. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all Service and Sales training is live within the team and delivered effectively into the store by working and engaging store teams.
Lead Manager
The team which will report to you will be the Phone Shop Manager, Services and Sales Line Manager, Pharmacy Manager and Optician Manager (includes Photo Shop) and Team Leaders for their Tech and Direct teams.
Line Manager
The team which will report to you will be Team Leaders for Team Tech, Photo, Direct and customer assistants across Beauty, Bike Shop, Photo Shop, Tech team, Direct and Photo
The team you will need to work with are Store teams, Service and Sales Area Managers, Area Phone Shop Manager and Operational Teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) You will engage the Store team about Retail Services and drive its development within the store and regularly update the management team.
b) You are the service and selling expert and provide specialist knowledge, particularly in service and sales.
c) You lead and manage your team`s sales performance accordingly
d) You champion seasonal trade driving opportunities across the whole store to achieve maximum sales and excellent impact and presentation
e) You use innovative and creative ways to drive trade and enhance customer awareness
f) You deliver all key operational targets including sales, service targets and availability for Photo, Phone Shop, Tech, Direct & Catalogue Shop.
g) You lead and support the culture where their staff know the customer benefits of their products and explain these in a way their customers can understand.
h) You lead the strategy to market the products and services across your area and the store to achieve maximum customer penetration.
i) You work with Non Food Stock Control to ensure all products and promotions are available.
j) You spot and develop store talent ready for moves and appointments and are spoilt for choice with successors in your store.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Experience of managing various teams and departments performances and setting KPI`s.
b) Proven experience in meeting and exceeding targets
c) Ability to learn new products quickly.
d) Training and developing staff.
e) Proven experience of maximising sales through marketing and sales initiatives.
You may have experience in the following roles: Lead Sales Manager, Customer Service Manager, Store Manager, Retail Manager, Area Manager, Regional Manager, Retail Operations Manager, Store Operations Manager, Training Manager, Development Manager, Retail Sales Manager etc
