ASSISTANT BUYER - HOMEWARES
ROLE:
An opportunity has arisen for the role of Assistant Buyer based in our head office in Skelmersdale, West Lancashire. As a key team player you will be working closely with the Buyer to ensure the department achieves sales, stock and margin targets by developing the target range.
Responsibilities will include following through with a supplier a small range of product including research and development. Duties will be to attend and contribute in supplier meetings at Head Office with your Buyer. This could involve putting views and proposals forward you have based on your knowledge of current or previous ranges, shopping or benchmarking trips or trade shows.
This involving position would suit someone independently minded with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Previous Homewares Buying experience
