BUYERS - Ladieswear
ROLE:
Do to the success of the brand we are currently looking for Buyers to be based at our head office in Skelmersdale, West Lancashire. You will be responsible for sourcing, creating and promoting a range of clothing for each season and then purchasing it at the best possible price to ensure we achieve sales, stock and margin targets. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the look and style of a full range and be accountable for the critical path of the product range.
As a line manager you will be responsible for coaching and developing junior members of the team. You will be required to work closely with designers to agree mood and story boards for translation into product.
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining good relations with existing and potential suppliers. You will also be required to attend trade shows, buying trips and shopping trips.
You will be involved in following sample procedures and process to ensure that all goods are delivered as planned and will attend range selection/sign-off meetings.
You will play a key role in securing mailer deals and putting mailer pages together to achieve sales and profit targets. You will also get the opportunity to work with Merchandisers and The Technical Services team to develop merchandising planners and improve the quality of our product.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Previous Ladieswear Buying experience
