Our client is currently seeking a Production / Warehouse Controller with experience in stock control and stock management within a busy warehouse and experience of production control within a busy production office.
Previous knowledge of the clothing
industry would be preferred.
The successful candidate will be motivated, articulate and have a competent working
knowledge of Order Management systems, stock control applications and Microsoft Office
applications.
The main responsibilities will include:
Stock control – managing the stock in and out of the business on a daily basis.
Planning warehouse capacity and resource.
Stock movement planning through the company’s work in progress systems.
Communicating on a daily basis with the designers, merchandisers and sales coordinators.
Managing the production schedule and work in progress on a daily basis.
Maintaining and updating the companies systems and procedures
Reporting to the Production Manager on daily basis.
Essential working knowledge:
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Stock Control Systems
Order Management Systems
Previous experience within the clothing industry
