Production Merchandiser - The Role

Our client is a looking to recruit an experienced production merchandiser to develop an apparel range and manage the production of that range for supply to the UK initially ( and latterly internationally ) high street. This is a lively and dynamic organisation who are continuing to grow and are looking for someone to effectively 'hit the ground running'. Previous experience working with licensed products would be an advantage but not-essential.
Production Merchandiser - The Role
You will be responsible for the day to day management of the critical path process. Liaising with design, technical, sales and client/buyers and merchandisers directly. We are looking for someone with a 'can do it' attitude and there will be the opportunity to travel offshore within post.
Production Merchandiser - The Candidate
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2-3yrs experience in a similar role. You will be self motivated with a high level for attention to detail, a team player with confident communication and negotiation skills and the ability to multitask and to meet deadlines. Previous experience working within Fashion supply is essential for this role. ( preferably Luxury Fashion )
Applicants must hold a valid work permit and a driving licence/access to a car is essential. Ability to prioritise your own workload, using your own initative and as part of a team, and to work under pressure and to deadlines are key to this role.
Salary range:£32 - 37K + package
