Our client has an opening for a supply chain planner, to become part of a successful International Group.
The main purpose to this role is to ensure all customer orders are executed within the agreed SLA's and to ensure the smooth running of the supply chain.
- Develop supply strategies for individual titles that meet agreed SLA'S
- Manage customer orders in a timely manner.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers and there unique styles of business.
- Using there internal systems, measure the effectiveness of the distribution activity
undertaken and identify future opportunities.
- Manage high volumes of call/order through planning and execution of priorities.
- Management of wholesale suppliers, through structured KPI's, appraisals and regular
reviews.
- Work with the Supply Chain to ensure stock is available for customer orders.
- Clearly demonstrating the value of the individual in the discussions around supply and
copy management at a brand level.
- Provide accurate feedback to all wholesaler queries relating to distribution and
allocations of branded products.
- Build strong and supportive relationships with Line Managers.
Successful candidates, will have outstanding team-working ability and excellent analytical skills with the ability to assimilate large amounts of data. They will be able to articulate results and ideas in a concise manner to both internal colleagues and external clients. They will have the capacity to deliver outstanding consulting work while being focused on more than one project at a time.
We require a strong academic background, candidates with a small amount of experience in a top-tier consulting or leading blue-chip firm may also join at this level. Excellent IT Skills especially in Excel and knowledge of SAP or a similar planning system would be an advantage.
