Purpose:

To provide information, analysis and recommendations to the business in order to support decision makers in optimising sales and reducing costs.

• To support the Direct Finance Manager with quality information to enable accurate forecasting, e.g. 3 year plan
• To monitor on-line competitive performance and market share, reporting weekly and periodically on changes and developments
• To use the market analysis tools to understand and monitor the performance of our competitors' on-line spend and report back to the marketing team any changes and provide insight and recommendation into the marketing planning process
• To work closely with the Customer Care Manager for resource planning and forecasting
• To plan and re-forecast the distribution operation with Fulfilment to improve efficiency and costs
• To work periodically to forecast web metrics and feed this into the strategic and budgetary processes
• To work closely with the Fulfilment team to plan and reforecast volumes
• To work with the website management teams to identify areas of development and trial and own the reporting and analysis of theses, feeding into the following planning processes
• To forecast weekly contact volumes for Mothercare and provide forecast contacts, and amend as required, for ELC
• Responsible for integrating web analytics data to help drive remarketing
• To analyse the weekly dashboard and trading pack, identifying key insights and actions, risks and opportunities
• To review the profitability of key promotions and make recommendations
• To provide the Head of Group Direct Marketing with analysis of catalogues and other direct marketing activity
• Ad hoc duties, as required
