This is a great opportunity for an experienced fishmonger looking for an opportunity to progress in to a supervisory role within a highly successful global retailer who has recently invested heavily into improving it's existing stores and particularly the fresh foods offering. As a result they now seek talented fresh foods specialists across the UK to join their business and take control of recently expanded or refurbished fresh foods departments.
This role will give the successful candidate full supervisory accountability for the fresh meat department with an annual sales turnover of between £500,000 - £2 million, as well as experience of working in a large unit with sales in excess of £30 million plus per year.

To be considered for this position you will have experience of working in a fresh meat department in a similar supermarket, wholesaler or a small specialist or independent butcher's business. You will have an in-depth knowledge & expertise of the meat trade, including temperature, storage and traceability legalities, and may hold some relevant qualifications and training gained within this field. Supervisory experience is not essential as this company offers a great on the job training scheme.
