Our network currently counts at around 420 stores. You know our stores. It’s likely that you see them every single day. Whether you walk past a ‘Snack and Shop’ on your way in to work, or drop in to a roadside ‘On the Run’ store for a tasty pastry and a fresh coffee, although you may not know it, you know us.
This retail operation is managed by ROC (Retail Operating Company): the people who run the refreshment and fuelling end of Esso’s business. This is your chance to find out more about us, and our vision to be the best refreshment and refueling operation.

Our ‘Snack and Shop’ stores are located right in the heart of local communities, providing everything from the fuel and car accessories you’d expect, to everyday essentials like bread, milk, newspapers and other, non-essentials, like chocolate!
‘On the Run’ is a new concept in customer service on the hoof: a roadside oasis - with everything from cold drinks and tasty sandwiches to fresh Costa coffee and baguettes. These stores are light and airy, with café-style seating and first class facilities, and we’ve big plans for the future.

Real variety and plenty of fresh challenges mean that your days will never be dull. Smaller stores mean bigger responsibilities. While you’re well supported by us as a whole, as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager you can look forward to real autonomy.
